I believe it depends on the area.  For example, last month, South Beach was up over 7% this year over last year.  30% seems like a big stretch though!  Looks like the biggest jump in Miami was in the 33130 and 33132 zips which increased 23%+/- this year over last year.

You can check the changes in price here on Zillow.  Just take a look at the tab at the top "Local Info" and go down and click on "Home Prices and Values".  There is a lot of good info there, but keep in mind, it is Zillow and there are a lot of errors too (like duplicate listings) which could skew the numbers.

Hi,
I don't think that is a correct percentage.  The prices have stablaized a bit and they do go up as each new salw closes.  You may have heard that sales have gone up, that is true.
