Yes, if your Freddie Mac loan is eligible you would have a very good chance for approval in HARP 2.0.  Freddie Mac loosened up their criteria on the new servicer version of the program a few weeks ago and we are seeing a very high percentage of applicants get approval at this point.

If you have been declined or misled before, I would be happy to provide a closer look at your options, you can contact me through my profile.

A few things you will want to do to make sure you qualify is to make sure your loan is indeed owned by Freddie Mac using the following link https://ww3.freddiemac.com/corporate/.  This will tell you when your loan was endorsed and if you are HARP eligible.  The next thing is to contact a lender that can close Freddie Mac Harp loans and have them go through the automated approval system otherwise known as Loan Prospector or LP.  This will give you a clear picture as to why or why not your loan would get approved.  I hope this information helps you.

Your question did not complete.    HARP is available to both Fannie and Freddie owned loans provided they were acquired by May 31 2009 and do not contain ineligible "Credit Enhancement" provisions.  (these are rare)
