is there a way to purchase a bank owned property that is not listed? i have cash and ready to buy

have cash and wanna buy asap. i have found several bank owned properties i like but they r not listed yet. cAn these hopes be purchased from bank at present time some other way than waiting? i want to spend $200000 to $300,000 depending on how good of deal i can receive . cash purchase..no financing..and want to buy asap. any ideas?

Does the bank have the home up for auction if so that would be the time you can buy it.

Unfortunately no, you can't buy a house directly from a bank.  There is always a reason they haven't listed it yet.  The most common one is that there is another lender involved and they're negotiating with them and that takes months, then there are liens that have to be cleared up, if it's an IRS lien, then good luck , take a chill pill and be ready to wait.

They also don't care if you're a cash buyer or doing a loan, their bottom line will be the same.

Could be there is a "redemption period" in Texas.  They might be waiting for that to expire.  GA does not have it but Alabama does, we work in both states.  Check with a realtor in TX about that.  Good Luck!  Hope you find your Home!

It depends on why they haven't been listed.  The bank may be keeping the property off market for legal reasons or because they intend to make repairs before listing.  Your Realtor may be able to determine why a specific property is off the market and get you in as the buyer before it's even listed.
