The first thing I'd like to ask is why? There are many "particulars" about modifications you must be aware of....That's where a worthy consultant helps and is priceless.....But, if it meant to be, it depends on your state's average....The courts are backed up, and in Florida especially, you wouldn't even go to court first.....You would be sent to a "mediator" to try an work something out.....Lastly, if your modification fits the 2 models (debt to income ratio and ALSO the income expense program), you should have no problem.....Of course, it has to be your primary residence and you have to have a "hardship".....
