Most busy agents have had experience by now with Homepath. Its not too complicated. Handling a rental listing is basic real estate. Doing them both flawlessly and with gusto is what you want. I'd suggest picking which of the NW suburbs among the dozens and calling several agents in those towns until you find the right match.

Fannie Mae is currently running a special on Homepath properties that close before June 30, 2011:
Fannie will pick up the tab for closing costs up to 3.5%!!! This is an amazing offer! It will save the buyer thousands of dollars! For details, go to Homepath.com or check with your lender.

Home path loans either the regular or rehab ones are fairly simple yet finding a house in the areas you mentioned might be a bit difficult as most of them tend to be multiple offer situations where cash is often king. I also am not clear if the numbers would work for a rental unless you put more down than most folks want to do.
I can send you a list of current house foreclosures in the Burbs if you want.
