My partner Tim Smith has a listing on Watts Bar Lake with two seperated living quarters (2 kitchens, 2 laundry rooms, 2 driveway entrances etc.). It is MLS # 743249. We also have a home that is about to go on the market this spring and it has a "mother in law" quarters. You can call me if you have questions about either of these. Hi Smokefan99,
I'm not certain if you have a particular area that you're looking into. However, I'd like to share that in Buffalo New York and surrounding cities, we have a lot of doubles/duplexes with separate utilities, separate washer and dryer hookups...separate living quarters as you mentioned above.
Depending on the area, I can suggest properties like the one you're looking for ranging from $50k to $250k in good neighborhoods. In some cases, if you live in one of the units and rent out the other one, you can actually live for free because the rental income is enough to pay for the mortgage.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
