thank you all for the input, but still havent found hous or program to meet my needs,still need to find out if theres a local program here in my city that would help with first time homebuying and would work with somebody recieving either ssi/or ssdi

Keep in mind that the lower the purchase price the more work that may be necessary to get the home to livable standards. So you will want to have extra money set aside for repairs or you would need to take out a 203k loan or a similar loan for any repairs.
