1031 exchanges are fantastic but, slightly complicated. I would suggest talking to a real estate attorney in your area. A local attorney should be able to refer you to a reputable company that specializes in 1031's.

I posted this on your other question, but here is a link explaining 1031 exchanges. I do not think that you can do them on your primary residence, but you would have to check with a tax attorney or even a knowledgeable real estate agent familiar with the rules in making these exchanges. You might be better off with a "house swap" instead with a private owner if your house does not sell.
