moss on roof

I have a lot of moss on my roof due to having very large trees around my house. I power washed it last year, but it seems to have come back in full force.  Trimming back the trees is pricey. I am looking for alternatives. I have had a few people tell me to install a zinc strip at the peak of my roof, and others have told me to sprinkle a bag of builder's lime over the moss. However, I cannot find a store with either of these items. Any other ideas, or should I just power wash it again?
