Hello. You can claim your house and edit the square footage. That can help make your Zestimate more accurate too. You can claim ownership with the blue "edit" link under the main home photo and then an option in that same menu will open so that you can "edit home facts".
The change is immediate, but if the increased square footage impacts your Zestimate (and it often does from what I've seen) it will take 2-8 weeks to work into the larger numbers.
If you have an appraisal, you can also add that under the Zestimate comment on the top of your home page after you claim so people can see it.
