Go over the comps that your Realtor is providing in the CMA and that would determine a great starting point to price the property. Also, what's your timeframe in selling the property? A Realtor is not only giving you a price but also a marketing strategy, customized to meet your real estate requirements.Good luck...
Zillow has never seen your home, inside or out. Zillow has never seen the recently sold, similar homes in your area. They use public information and a computerized algorithm to create zestimates. I would hope that your real estate agent is far more accurate, but who knows.Hopefully, you interviewed several agents and they all gave you a price they thought you should list at? I can tell you that being overpriced in this market will assure that your house will not sell. But it really comes down to whether or not you trust your agent and his/her knowledge of the market and your home.
