if you are thinking about your zestimate, it may no longer be availible... it does that sometimes, however if you go to your local assessor's office with zillow's value, they will not give you any type of credibility. you need to get in touch with someone who can give you a fair opinion of value.

Your tax statement indicates the county's appraisal value of your property. Your property taxes are based on this value.
If you think your taxes are too high, you can file a protest at your county's tax appraisal office.
I would recommend contacting a local Realtor(R) and they can look up similar properties in your neighborhood. You can then take this information with you when you meet with the tax appraisal's office. Hopefully the comparables are lower than what your tax statement shows!
