sandstorm...finding a loan without documenting income will be much harder than finding an reo proprty. Find the financing before you waste your time looking at property.

Hudson City Savings still offers stated or no ratio (in NY, NJ, and CT) depending on your employment/self employed status...if you can find a local broker approved with them that may be your best bet

Geoff,
I worked in NJ for several years so I'm familiar with Hudson City Svgs, but where in the hell did you hear of them? Impressive!

Virtually all stated income products are now dead. That said, there are a few programs left, but be aware if they require you to sign an IRS form 4506-T, they will be pulling your tax returns in underwriting, so it could be a waste of time for you and your realtor.
A form 4506-T is a form that allows lenders to pull a copy of your most recent filed tax returns directly from the IRS.

A place called Equity Now does it! Just be careful to read all the documents if you do apply! They really got over on me and I might loose my home.
