On FHA mortgages, the seller can contribute up to 6% of the purchase price towards closing costs, including, but not limited to points, origination fees, appraisal, lender fees, title insurance, title related fees, attorney fees, settlement fees, prepaids, escrow reserves, and the Upfront Mortgage Insurance Premium (UFMIP). The seller can NOT make any contributions towards your downpayment.
