problems with your software?

This refers to the property on 13039 Addison St, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423. The house has been rented since September 2010, and the prior listing (Coldwell Banker) had been removed and I claimed the house. Suddenly this past week I noticed that the prior listing, with William Keller, became active again. The agent apparently can't completely remove the listing. Please look into this matter ASAP and notify me of the result. I should still be the owner, and there shouldn't be any "for sale" history since August 2010.

This is an ongoing problem that is frustrating many agents.  Zillow needs to come up with a system that if a listing hasn't been updated within a set time period, say 90 or 180-days, then the active listing should simply not be shown.  Often times agent don't have direct access to the feed source and it can be difficult to get a hold of someone.

The agent needs to figure out why her information is still in a listing feed going to Zillow.  As long as it is in that listing feed, it will keep reappearing in Zillow.    While Zillow can manually remove properties, the removal only lasts until the feed source up dates (a day or two).   Clearly (as you can see from Mike's link), it is very active in the feed source.

Your home has become active on Zillow because the originating website still has this property as active on their servers.

Unless it's removed from the originating website, it may reappear as an active listing with Keller Williams. Send them an email and request they REMOVE your listing from their website.
