rental scams via internet how can i get help and report this

hello i was a victim of a rental scam via the internet from trulia site.  i sent 1400.00 to the uk to a owner of a house. i moved my family my 5  children and myself into the home to have the police at the door in the morning telling me i had 20mins to move out and i was lucky i was not going to jail, this happened 3weeks ago. i am just started looking for a home again and found the same scam on zillow for a different property how can i report this please help

If you find a rental scam on Zillow, open the home details page, hover cursor over "edit" and chose "report problem with listing".  In the drop down menu you can chose "rental scam".

Here's a link to the Zillow FAQ on avoiding scams and internet fraud.   The one you describe is extremely common on every internet site, so renter beware.
