retired, draw monthly retirement checks, not good credit, can i buy a house?

could make a small down payment, no credit card bills, monthly retirement around 2000.00 per month without husbands retirement check.older need home husband disabled sometimes in v.a. nursing home, would prefer 2-3 bedrooms, 1-2 baths, working plumbing can i buy one

What do you mean by Not Good Credit?  What is your score or what is wrong with it.  You also mentioned that you have no credit cards, do you have any loans?
