secondary position??

Your offer is in a secondary position due to the fact that the conservator has accepted the other offer. I want to know what exactly does this mean, is every offer secondary to the accepted offer or am I next if the accepted offer falls through? Do I need anything in writing?

You are correct, you are a backup offer and I would ask for something in writing otherwise the primary could fall and they could offer it to a third party and you would never know about it.
