Use a resource that has proven experience in negotiating short sales.  A lot of people/firms claim to do short sale negociations but very few have the ability, expertise, knowledge and experience to do them effectively and in your best interests!  Ask for references and talk to actual Clients who they have help so you can confirm first hand that they will help you and not hurt you!
