RealtyTrac perhaps? I assume you mean pre-MLS? Because Short Sales are almost always listed on the MLS, so you should be able to get alerts for that on any local Realtor site.

As for foreclosure status, try Google email alerts? Go to Alerts.Google.com and sign up for all mentions of this home address, and if a foreclosure site picks it up, or a newspaper publishes a notice, you will get an alert.
