the "Zestimate" you have placed on our home is too low- How do we correct it?

we based this on sales comps, realtor feedback, tax assessment and bank appraisal

I tell my customers, if they are going to get a Zestimate, they need to follow up and get an appraisal. A zestimate isn't always accurate. An appraisal can get you the estimated value of your home according to the market. It will also help you sell your home quicker since it's listed within the proper price range. To better understand how Zestimate functions and understand why Zestimate may be less accurate on these properties:

1. Be sure to update your home's core facts such as square footage, beds, baths and others on Zillow.
2. Check if we have the most updated sold information on the site for your property.
3. Be sure to read and understand how Zillow's Zestimate is calculated then compare them to your realtor's assesment of the home or appraisal performed by a real estate professional.

Bottomline, Zestimate is computer generated estimation which means the numbers are just starting points and a certain degree of err naturally exists in the numbers.

Thank you.
