We have three sources of geo-points which determine where a home shows up on the map, and this sometimes result to incorrect location. For the details about each of our sources and their accuracy, please take a look at this post on the Zillow Blog.
If you post a Make Me Move or For Sale price on your home, you'll be given the option to edit the home's location on the map. In the future, we hope to enable anyone who has claimed a home to move their home, but the site doesn't have that capability yet.

The ariel photo of my house is off. I tried to edit the position, but it wouldn't accept my changes. Please help. The pic the website is showing makes my house look like it is right on top of several other houses when, in fact, there's woods behind me and to one of my sides.

You may read this blog post about the various ways we locate homes on the maps on Zillow. You also now have the option to edit your home's location. Please navigate your home's detail page, click the Edit home location link and this should lead you to a page where you can edit the position of your home.

The aerial view of our house is way off. I don't even know the area you are showing, or just how far "off" it is. Can you fix it please? Our address is 5758 Winchester Court, Alta Loma, CA 91737. We are located just east of Hermosa Ave. (east of Hermosa Elementary School) off of Wilson Ave., the first street (cul-de-sac) to the right (south). This was new construction last year. There are eight houses located there which were all sold last year. Thank you for your time and consideration.

You can edit the position of you home on the map. Please follow the steps below:
1. Go to Zillow.com and log-in to your account.
2. Go to your home's details page.
3. Click on "Bird's eye view and larger map" link then click on "Edit home location".
4. Click on "Edit Position".
5. Drag the icon to the correct location of the home then click on "Save Position".

I did what you said (above) and it fixed the bird's eye view and larger map, however, when you go to the street level it still shows some apartment building on Lupine Ct. which is further south and further east of where our house is actually located. Can you tell me how to fix the street level view? Thank you.

The street view is provided by Google. If it is inappropriate, you may report it to them. Just follow the steps below:
1. Go to http://maps.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=98014.
2. Select “Inappropriate Street View Imagery”.
3. Follow the instructions for reporting it.

the aerial view of my house is off by a block
938 south st, philadelphia pa 19147 is off by a block. It's shown on the 800 block when it should be on the 900 block. Please update this.
