Crazy fact:
Sold in 1997 for $173,00
Sold in 2004 for $606,000!! 600 bucks/sqft!
Tried to sell for $699k in 2006, lowered to $659k last summer. No dice.
Property went up over 300% in 7 years?!? What fundamental factor justifies this? Population? Incomes? How about, uh.... NONE!
We got a ways to go in this downturn. It's not so much properties are <i>dropping</i> in value. It's that they should have NEVER gotten to the obscene levels they did in the 1st place!
