unauthorized listing - how do i remove the listing info from zillow.com?

Profile picture for gtg488d
i recently discovered that a realtor listed my property for sale on their website without my authorization.  i am in the process of filing an ethics complaint against the realtor to make others aware of this activity. the realtor's website was linked to zillow.  my property now shows via zillow that it was on the market for the past 8 months, although it wasn't.  at some point, i will want to sell my house and do not want the recent unauthorized and incorrect listing to affect my future efforts to sale my house.  can i remove the invalid listing info from zillow?  if so, how?  thanks.

Sorry to hear that...that's a pretty large mistake to list a property that was never listed! Although I have never done it, I think you can "claim" the listing and then remove it. Good luck

Hi gtg488d -

Please provide us the address in question so we can check the source of the listing and how to remove it on the website. You may email me also through my Zillow profile.

Thank you.
