Yes, I'd like to remove my listing altogether. As you say, Okara, it is not made obvious how one can do that.

In Zillow's Owner's posting starting point, it states:
"Once it's live, you can easily and quickly update information or remove the posting from the site."
It states you can "remove the posting" from the site, but when you try to delete the posting information such as sales price, etc., one is not allowed to do so. This is totally misleading. Doesn't make for much goodwill with an owner trying to delete. I would never have listed on Zillow if I did not take that wording to mean that a listing could be "removed" and that means completely removed -- not just some parts convenient for Zillow.

I tried to change my house's listing to "no longer for sale" and got the same "errors in red" message. And there's nothing for me to correct or change!

Try to remove the Open House Dates first then head on to changing the status from the option "No Longer For Sale".
Should this not work, kindly leave a follow up note here.

Removing the Open House Date first is a pretty convoluted way of changing the status. Bad UX.

I have already submitted the duplicate listing for deletion.
However, we do not have a time frame as to when it will be removed from the website. Please check the site from time to time.
Thank you.

My home is no longer for sale. I was able to reflect this in Zillow a while back but now it is showing it is for sale again. Please help. The address is 4507 N Tattenham, Boise, ID 83713.

Our record shows that your property was posted for sale via an automated data feed. To remove this permanently from Zillow, the responsible agent has to remove this address from the source of the feed so that it will not be re-posted every time Zillow updates the site or checks the feed.
In the meantime, I have taken down the posting of this property from the website. I have also advised the agent to remove this address from their database.
Thanks.

@Noraleem: congrats on your new home.
Sometimes agents don't remove a data feed for their listings. In order to find it and contact the agent, open your property details page, scroll to the bottom and find the "listing website". If it is in blue, it is an active feed. Contact the agent and ask for it to be removed promptly. Once it is removed, it should change its status within 24 to 72 h.

Sorry the information about your home is public knowledge and can not be deleted. I was told that if you claim your home you will be able to change it though.

I'll try contacting the listing agent.
I don't mind having the information listed, it is public record after all.
I just don't like seeing my home listed for sale when I just bought it. And when I see that they updated it as being sold.
I don't want people to come knock on my door thinking my house is for sale.
Thanks.

I agree with you, it would be very annoying if my house was listed for sale after I'd purchased it. I do hope the listing agent is responsive.
