value of my home?

4 bdrm/2-1/2 bath, 3,000 sq ft, 1 acre land, outside professionally painted last month.  Deck professionally cleaned and stained last month.  2-1/2 side load garage.  formal l/r , dinning room. huge eat in kitchen,  3 pantry's den w/brick f/p downstairs,  huge den over garage upstairs,  pull down stairs to partially floored attic. cedar exterior concrete drive w/ parking pad..

Definitely hire an independent appraiser to define your home's value. If you are considering selling your home, I suggest interviewing several agents and having them complete a CMA for you (they should do this at no charge).

I'd call a qualified agent in your area for a Comparative Market Analysis of the property.  They give those out for free.  If you really want accurate pricing, then call a local area appraiser. They are around $300-$500.

You could use the AVM (automated valuation model) found in zillow as a starting point. But if you are thinking of selling your home, it would be beneficial to get a CMA (Comparative Market Analysis). I provide the CMA report for free to my clients as part of their consultation. If you are already working with a REALTOR, you could request a CMA on your home. The CMA will show the comparable houses in your neighborhood that were recently sold and houses that are currently for sale.

The value of your home is what a buyer is willing to pay in 60 days or less.  Since most buyers use financing of some sort, then the answer really is that your home is worth what an appraiser feels it is worth.  Your home sounds unique a bit, but unique homes can be a curse.  If the sold inventory the past 3 months has homes similar to yours, then an appraiser will find the median price of those solds.  Granite countertops, brick, and other interior features do not necessarily make your home worth more.  My advice is to call a qualified agent in your area for a CMA of the property.  They give those out for free.  If you really want accurate pricing, then call an appraiser in your local area to come out.  They are around $300-$500.
