You as the owner can adjust what the home has on Zillow which can possibly raise the value of the home...

I fully understand all of that as I am no stranger to the real estate market. However, there is a SIGNIFICANT difference in the zestimate on our home, compared to the surrounding neighbors so we're guessing something went wrong somewhere recently, since they were all in line a few months ago.

Zillow does a broad brush across the United States and would "NEVER" be used to appraise a house. In no way shape or form would anyone use a "Zestimate" to fund, sell, buy or appraise a home; accept possibly a first buyer or seller without an agent.

Zillow has no idea what you have in your home, other than what is on Assessor Records, which many times are incorrect.

Your neighbor can trash their home and you have a pristine home; Zillow may or may not "Zestimate" your home as being much higher, lower or the same as theirs.

A "Zestimate" should not be confused with an actual professional appraisal. Especially since Zillow many times is well behind the true market conditions by months: good and bad markets.
