Since this post is two years old already, I doubt you still need them.
But for others, you can always contact an appraiser (in addition to a Realtor) . Nice appraisers out there give out comps for free!

Don't be afraid of calling a real estate agent. They are there to help. The smarter ones will bend backwards to get your business.

A title company or local agent. Make sure if you live in a "boarder town" area such as the North East corridor: Eagle Rock, Mt. WAshington, etc, or Hollywood Hills/Studio City as there are several different MLS systems in the area. Just this year they went to a reciprocal approach so, you should be getting current information even if the agent is no a member of the immediate MLS area. Sound confusing, it was until this year. A licensed agent/ member can walk you through it. Call us if you need more assistance.

Of course the county records has all the sales data as the titles are changed for tax purposes, and any local realtor can get that data for you. Yes, you could go to the county and look it up yourself, but it is a waste of time.
Zillow does have the county data and lists it for us, but as Sunnyview already mentioned; "recent sales" only means within the past 12 months, so if you want to see other sales data from Zillow you would need to individually open each home page in the area, and go to the details and get the sales price with date, and put it in your own table.
But why bother? The relative comps hasn't changed that much, and Zillow provides trends for both the Z-estimate and the Z-index. If you want to know relative value for 2 years ago, just look at the 5 year trend graphs for the Z-estimate and the Z-index in the area, and adjust your estimated values accordingly.
(I got an appraisal for 20 months ago, so I plan on using the Z-index graphs and Z-estimate graphs for extrapulating for the present).

Zillow's comps/sales only go back about a year. If you want a more complete list or an idea about where the market in going, call a local agent in your area and they will be able to help you.

A local realtor should be able to provide that information to you. Try calling the realtor you worked with when you purchased your home.
wanted to see comps in my area 2 years ago, how do I go about?
