we bought a package through MLSmyhome.com that included Zillow

We purchased this package that included Zillow and some other websites two weeks ago.  Our home is on the MLS and showing up on realtor.com, but it has not been posted to zillow yet.  I contacted MLSmyhome.com and they reported that they have no control over the amount of time it takes to show up on your website that zillow pulls the information from them, that MLS does not submit to Zillow.  I would like to know how long it takes!  Two weeks seems like a long time to wait.

Did you ever follow up with the Texas Real Estate Commission? I recently had a similar experience with mlsmyhome.com, it is a waste of time and money.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and plan to share my experience and create as much exposure as possible to help protect other consumers. This kind of behavior needs to be kept in check.

You are correct that two weeks is unacceptable.  Whenever you purchase advertising on the web, it should appear within 24 hrs at most.  I hope your home selling experience has produced results for you!

When you look closer at MLSMyHome.com, you find it is a single guy who pretends to run a full service.  Call the number and choose different departments, you'll always get Mike, the guy mentioned on the BBB website.  We too thought our listing would show up on the other sites that he lists on his site.  We called several times.  He just continued to say that he has a portal where all these other sites pick up the content, that's it's 'viral' and can't control where it goes, but that never happened.  My wife asked him to explain it and his response was "well, it's very technical".  When I called and said that I am technical and said "OK, explain to me as I'll understand" then he deferred to his technical guy, who he didn't allow me to talk to and never followed up with.

Then he lied and told me that we were the first ones to ever have this happen.  I got tired and said I wanted my money back, that if he didn't I would contact the BBB, that's when he cussed me out (the F word) and saying that he doesn't have time to follow up on a single customer when he has 1000's.  Threatened to put a lien on my house and sue me if I did. WOW, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!  I noticed that he has been reducing his prices and lowering expectations on his site.  I found out that his realtor's license lapsed in 2008.  Didn't take the time yet to follow up and file a complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission but am planning on it.  My advice to all: verify my statements here, and then AVOID MLSMYHOME.COM at all costs.  In the end it will save you a lot of frustration, money, extra paperwork, and time.  Best Wishes.
