Williamson County is definitely known for the Public School System! A great website and resource is greatschools.org. You can get great ratings from parents and teachers!

That is true! Wilson County is getting great reviews for their school system. It has been my experience that the people that have children in the magnet program love it and the same follows with Williamson and Wilson County. I follow it closely because I have a first grader in Davidson County. I am very happy where I am now but am considering one of these 3 options for middle and high school. Education is truly the most important decision in home buying from a parental stand point! Thanks for the great question!

Brentwood in Williamson county has the best public schools in the state outside of magnet schools. Taxes are not higher in Williamson county, in fact they are much lower than a similar priced home in Davidson county.

I chose Williamson County myself! I have lived in Middle Tennessee my entire life and I would suggest Williamson County! Good luck in your choice!

I went to GreatSchools.net and poked around. Nashville has some pretty awesome schools at all levels and at the High School&Middle School level they are magnet type schools which, I believe, have no district.
The Williamson County and Wilson County school districts are rated #1 and 2 in the state consistantly,
However, real estate taxes in Williamson county are about 30% higher than Wilson County.
