If you can't speak to Florida, why are you commenting in a thread concerning the market in South Florida? There are no prizes based on number of "contributions" to Zillow.

It has made the rental market stronger. people who lost homes went into rentals. people who rent have lost their rental, becasue the landlord did not pay the mortgage.

I have a home in South Florida and my rents have gone down since I bought it. My management company tells me that I shouldn't have too much trouble getting it rented if my tennant decides to move out. A lot depends on the area where the house is. I'm told that my home is in a good area for rentals
