I'm assuming you are asking about security deposits for tenants who are 62 years of age or older.

For tenants age 62 or older, a landlord in Connecticut is only allowed to have a maximum one month's security deposit.
For those under the age of 62, Connecticut states there can be a maximum of two month's security deposit.

Anything called a "last month's rent" would also be considered to be a security deposit.
