what can you do if you feel Zillow estimate on your home is too low?

especially since the house was recently appraised at a much higher value given renovations completed that are not accounted for in Zillow's estimate?

Yes. All upgrades done to the home while in your care will help greatly.

If it is your property you can claim it and create your own estimate. that will help a little. There is also a place for owner comments where you can add information that might help show the value of the home is more than what is shown on the "zestimate".
