Depends on who Zillow is talking to it seems to me

This is what Zillow tells Consumers/the public

"Make Me Move is a free and easy way to tell others the price you'd be willing to sell your home for, without actually putting it on the market. It's the "dream price" you might accept if someone offered you that price."
Zillow FAQ

This is what Zillow tells RE Agents

"Have you checked out Zillow's Make Me Move functionality?
"Make Me Move" allows homeowners to indicate a price that would make them sell.....Hello, don't you think they will be prime seller prospects?

Some sellers are unrealistic in their pricing. But regardless they are exploring the possibility to sell. You can filter listings on Zillow by searching for Make Me Move homes in your neighborhoods.

Pick up the phone and tell them you are a Realtor who represents a lot of buyers and interested in checking out their home. There you will have a face to face appointment with a potential seller"

(MMM is #3 on the list of 15)

Quite the lead generator Zillow has created..
Heck it's #3 on Zillows Top 15 list, it's free and they'll gladly tell the public
"Make Me Move is a free and easy way to tell others the price you'd be willing to sell your home for, without actually putting it on the market. It's the "dream price" you might accept if someone offered you that price."

"Make Me Move" is also akin to a seller's attempt at For Sale By Owner (FSBO). Keep in mind that entering into a transaction such as this may mean that either party, or both are unrepresented in the transaction.

Just to share a cool story, we took a listing a couple of months ago where the owner had posted a Make Me Move Price with no luck. The zestimate value of their home is $20K less than the appraisal just came back at. Part of the reason the home appraised well was in large part due to strategy on our part as listing agents. While it can be tempting to try and cut out the "middle man," great agents will often pay for themselves when it comes to properly pricing your property as well as representing you throughout negotiations. If you're a buyer, check into whether the seller will pay a buyer broker fee so that you can maintain representation to make sure that you have someone who knows the market and can help you navigate the negotiations and understand whether the "make me move" price is compatible with the current market for that home.

Hi user06907292 -

Make Me Move is placing a price on your home without officially placing it in the market. It's the price that you can't say no.

You can go to this link to know more about Make Me Move and here to start.

Thank you.

Make Me Move is basically a home owner setting a standard price that would have them consider selling.

That is the price the homeowner would accept to sell their home.
