H.O.A. stands for Home Owners Association.  the fee will depend on the actual depends on what is  actually covered by the association.  An example would be If there is a common park, the association would split the cost, do they cover repairs of roof, maintain sidewalks, landscape.  The more they is covered the more the fee. every association is different.

An HOA fee refers to a charge assessed by a Home Owners Association. I'm not sure which fee you are referring to, but most HOA's charges a monthly or annual fee to homeowners. In addition, if you see this charge on your closing summary, it may refer to the fee a homeowner's association will assess to change over the paperwork to the new owner's name.

HOA stands for Home Owners Association. This is the community organization that would enforce restrictions and covenants and also be responsible for maintaining any common areas and amenities, such as pool, tennis courts, entry, etc. HOA fees are collected for that purpose. Usually the fee is collected annually but could be monthly, depending on the development. If the fees aren't paid, the HOA could put a lien on a property and it would have to be satisfied before you could sell the property. Ultimately, the HOA is there to protect your investment by maintaining the community.
