High traffic area means simply a busy area, indoors a high traffic area would be the kitchen or shared hallway, outdoors would mean a busy street or walkway.

Hi,

Are you talking about "high traffic area" within a home or as in the neighborhood?
Within the home maybe sounds like hallways, landings, etc. but high traffic area most likely sounds like having major streets and/or freeways near the home. Having a home near Busy streets will always affect resale value, mostly because it can limit the number of future buyers willing to purchase your home. Of course there are plenty of properties on busy streets that get bought and sold everyday, but just as most buyers expect a discount when they purchase a home near a busy road, you will have to give the same discount when you sell the home.

Hope this helps!
