Depending on whether you are looking for attached or detached. The cost is roughly between 10-20K. Again, if you are opting for premium materials you could spend as much as 50K. Always make sure you get at least 3 bids on the project from a reputable company.

A basic garage in a basic town costs about $7,000 per car space.  A basic 2-car garage costs about $14,000 assuming easy site, basic quality, and basic city.

Concord Massachusetts, on the other hand, is far from basic.  As the prior commentor said, start with an architect or respected builder to get a picture of the whole enchilada as it pertains to your house, lot, town, and budget.

The cost could easily top $100,000 to have it be right.

Biondi,

The answer to your question is:  it depends!  It depends on the size of the garage, if it is attached or detached, if it is on land you already own, if you have to buy land, if you need a variance to build a garage, and more.  There is much to consider...the builder's charge, materials, electrical and town inspections.

I suggest you talk to an architect.

Good luck, Jessica
