Unfortunately, we don't calculate negative equity on a neighborhood level at Zillow, but we do have it for the San Diego metropolitan statistical area. At the end of Q4 2009, 24.7 percent of owners of single-family homes with mortgages were underwater. That was up from Q3, when 21.6 percent were underwater.
