zillow has that my home sold 2004. it was never sold. I bought it new 2002 and have lived in the home since that time. it reflects in a negative way. I have emailed zillow called and visit public records, no resolution. please help. I am contacting action  channel 9 as this is a poor reflection if I ever plan to sell my home.

Hi jasonrestivo37 -

Our apologies for the inconvenience. I was able to verify this on county records and sent it for correction. We'll email you for updates.

Thank you.

I would be frustrated too. I can see that you asked for help in the past. As long as the public records are correct, Zillow should be able to help once they see the issue. I flagged your home page again hoping that it would help. You do the same and then hopefully Zillow can get the correction made.

Go in to My Zillow, top right, 'claim your home' and then try to correct the information that way. Did you refinance in 2004, if so, that could be why it is incorrect. It can't reflect in a negative way , by the way. As a realtor I just don't see how.

I've observed the most effective way get errors of this sort corrected on Zillow is to open the home details page, scroll to the pricing history and click on the little grey flag on the right end of the row of numbers. Use this to  report the exact error with a link to the public records.   Zillow does have to verify the information with public records, so the link makes it easier for them.
