when buying a home can you get a mortgage that includes repairs and remodeling to the home?I am looking to buy a home that is a fixer upper. The Zillow value is $360K but will sell for $300. The home need a new kitchen, bathroom and general updating. I would cost about 100K to do this; of course this would add some value to the home. Will a mortgage company give a loan for the $400K less a 10% deposit? or will they only give a loan for the $300K. I am in NJ if this makes any difference.February 05 2011 - Park Ridge11YesReport a ProblemProblemSelect oneOffensive contentIrrelevant contentSpam (pure self-promotion)OtherDetailsYour emailPlease enter a valid email address.Submit CancelContent flaggedWe will review this content.
