You are not screwed if the house depreciates and he has to foreclose. Only he is screwed. I wish my name wasn't on some loans right now. lol

Yes as long as your name is still on title you are fine. His income and credit was the only one to qualify on the current home. If you are on title - then you still own the home - just not liable for the mortgage.

Is your name off the title as well as the loan? If it is still on the title, you are fine. If it was removed from the title (and you would have had to sign a document for this), then start pushing to get your name back on the title.
