I would like to recommend you speak with a lender and get your credit improved, it can take as little as three months to get you on the right path. There are some great professionals who contribute to Zillow, speak to any of them, go up to Professionals and pull open the tab who sees who works near you. With a lender though, they don't need to be in your area to work with you. My clients have used people all over the country even though we are located in Raleigh North Carolina. Hope that helps you out.
