Maybe someone updated the information on the house next door.  They may have increased the square footage, # of bedrooms, etc.  Look on Zillow to see if the property is "claimed."  When I "claimed" my house on Zillow, I made some adjustments that changed the value.

The "zestimate" is a robotic program, and not a very smart one at that. It simply looks at the averages from all the data as it is updated, and is only as good as the info entered (and a lot of info on zillow is wrong), it doesn't know about property condition, or neighborhood conditions, anything. It is not even close to being an "appraisal", and can routinely be off by plus or minus 30-40 percent or more on an individual property. The general trend data from larger areas on zillow is useful, but the zestimate is so flawed and misleading, it should not even be there, in my opinion.
