Some info is available from the online property search at http://muskogee.oklahoma. ... ssor.com/  but chances are you'll need to actually call the courthouse and ask.  it's free to call, the website has some free parts and some that you have to pay.-  or use a Realtor in the area that can look up info for you.   Just notice somebody already offered...so you're probably all set!

Neither of those sources are likely to help you know which bank owns the note on the house.  98 per cent are all fraudulent transactions and pursuing this is a dangerous proposition if you are looking to buy or you are the seller.  The only way you will know exactly is via a forensic investigation, a securitization audit, a QWR, and ultimately filing the information with the county recorder.  Who the county shows is the owner is not as the process of selling the note from one lender to the other was improper to include the owners right to be directly involved in the process each time the note was sold.  If the note has been securitized then there are no true lenders to the note as the note no longer exists.

Which house are you referring?  I could take a look and see what I can find for you.
