why does my address listing have a sold for a $1 listed beside it when the house was not sold at all

no its my home and neither of these issues has occurred-the house was not transferred and the sale price was previously posted-its very odd

Are you saying it was recently listed and not sold or could this be from a previous sale?  If so, it might be a sale where both Buyer and Seller agreed not to publically disclose the sales price.

Your house might have been transfered from a husband to a wife or put into a trust of some sort. The $1.00 transaction indicates it was most likely a transfer between or amongst family members. The exact determination can be found at the registry of deeds. You should consult an attorney for the the actual transaction information.
