My house has in in-law/au pair suite, 2 remodeled baths and a brand new kitchen.  My neighbor's house is not as large and has not been remodeled in years, so how can his house be worth more than mine?

this is a FREE site, what do you expect it to be perfect? Did they just buy the house? If so, their sales price is more indicative of their house value. Do you have the same sq footage? lot size? etc... it is better to look at a house cost per sq foot then total cost anyways.if you want to know what you r house is really worth, call a re agent or get it professionally appraised.
