If either of you actually lived in the home at any time in the last 3 years then you can't get the credit as far as I know.  In PA it doesn't matter who's name is on the deed, if you're married then it's owned by both.

If your wife has lived in the house she owns as a primary residence at any time within the last three years, then not qualified for the tax credit.

First of all, the home that your wife owns, are you currently living in the home or have you or your wife lived in the home at any point in the previous three years?

There is not enough information to adequately address your question.
