If you do not appreciate the spirit of the forum and only want to post links to promote your website, you are on the wrong site, but feel free to repost my watch croc photo on another site. He is hoping to break into show biz.

Mr Ritman: I suspect the "negativity" is coming from the fact that one of things people find wonderful about Zillow Advice is that it is a place that is (supposed to be) free of promotions, advertisements, spam etc. When it is seen, it rankles. Right now I'm not sure if I flipped from Public Broadcasting to infomercials by mistake, or what happened. I prefer Public Broadcasting

not really sure where all this negativity is coming from, but believe it or not there are people who still care about their homes and their safety/security. And yes we do sell products for both home and commercial applications.
and yes, we are looking to expand by hiring 2- 3 additional sales-force
and no we are not using this medium to sell products only for discussions of new out there. There are some people using this medium that may not be aware that there are some new products.

10 to 12 safety & security features?? That makes me cringe more than the car ads with 10 air bags.
Talk about overkill.
I'll keep my (nearly) 100 yo wooden doors, thank you very much!
As for the midnight ads.....whatever happened to Sam Popeel???? haha
And I actually have the Ginsu's! They're actually really nice. Bought them about 15 years ago!

Organic burglars and dogs! What a thought...maybe more than price of non organic, but so much more satisfying.
How about a trained watch croc? Drop that Ginsu set and put your hands up burglar guy.

I like a door where people can break in. The dawgs are hungry, and organic dawg food is expensive. (All who break in must be organic, please.)

I've always been partial to the idea of a moat with crocodiles as protection, maybe a pit with crocs under the door could be worked into the design. It wouldn't even cost anything to feed the crocs if you would put up a peddlers welcome sign at the street.

Of course you and Pasa are right. A house with windows is an obvious target for burglars. Maybe natural light and a view is overrated compared with the obvious need for 100% burglar proof house.
Perhaps the wisest course of action would be to replace all windows with security doors and build the house of of reinforced concrete with gun ports. That would certainly keep all my informercial treasures safe from prying eyes. Don't worry my little bump its. I will save you from those big bad burglars.

@ Sunnyview...
As much as I fear doing this, I have to agree with Pasa's post on the OP's other thread. What good is a 100% unbreakable front door if the house has a back door, windows, sliders, etc.?
My personal fave late-PM/early-AM infomercial is for the spray sealer, the one where they float a boat with a screen door as a bottom.

First, let me state my bias that infomercials can be the savior of the common man from annoyances of the modern age. Hopefully, we can at least agree the infomercial for Space Bags is super awesome even if it is not up to par with the Magic Bullet 7 second salsa. And don't even get me started on the Shamwow.
This fella says that he sells "100% burglar proof doors". I personally have not seen any door that is 100% unbreachable so I want to know what sort of a guarantee is offered. If a door that you sell is breached, will you agree to replace all contents of the house at your expense?

Dude,
You're obviously trying to pimp something. Why don't you just tell use what it is...in a non-self-promoting kind of way.
That means no links to websites, no phone numbers, no email addresses, etc. Your posts are starting to sound like a bad, cheesy 2AM informericial lead-in.

Beyond the customization itself for vanity or branding sake, I do not see an advantage unless you are talking about a commercial application for the doors. How much do they run on the low side?

would it be a beneifit if your entry doors could customized?
