Here's a link to Zillow's home value index for Locust Valley. It appears you purchased in period of very rapid home price rise (luckily before the peak) and there hasn't been much rebound.

Zillow provides an estimate, only an estimate.  If you wish a more refined number an appraiser (for several hundred dollars ) or an agent may be able to give you an estimate.

Yes, it is wise for all users to look both at the data associated with homes carefully as well as read the FAQ 'What is a Zestimate?" carefully (more than once, perhaps).

9 first street appears to be a user created entry in Zillow's database (with no sales history or tax history).  It also doesn't show a home size.    As a consequence of all the missing data, it has a very wide value range of  $542K – $1.14M  (See "What is a Zestimate?' for definition).  User entries tend to have Zestimates out of line with the neighborhood.

7 First St appears to have been edited incorrectly showing that it is on a sixty (60) acre lot vs public data showing a 5950 sq ft (0.14 acre) lot .    The value range for this property is also wide $436K – $715K, probably due to the lot size edit, but not as wide as 9 first street.

You do not mention which home you are referring to.  However, Zillow value estimates are often inaccurate.  The only way to be certain what a home is really worth is to have a Comparative Market Analyis performed by a real live real estate professional.
