zestimate way off

you estimated a home of 28 years old.. smaller ..less land being 93.00 a sq foot versus a 10 year old home that is bigger and more land at 89.00 per sq foot.. i dont know how you get your figures..but its very misleading and should not be given when you cannot give an accurate estimate based on apples and apples..

In addition, here is a guide to how Zillow rates its own accuracy:

http://www.zillow.com/howto/DataCoverageZestimateAccuracy.htm

This should explain more about Zestimates in general.

Bigger homes tend to be priced with lower dollars per square foot.  This is true from the moment that construction starts, and continues into homes that are decades old.      Houses aren't sold per square foot, but as an entire unit.

In "What is a Zestimate?" it describes both how to intepret the Zestimate as well as some actions the home owner can take.
